Pledge Fundraising Program
The tender process closed on June 2, 2022. We submitted a proposal to the Trustee in that process. We will update parishioners following announcement of the tender results by the Trustee. We wish to thank all parishioners for their support.

Masses and COVID
Covid restrictions have been lifted. Masks are recommended but not mandatory. When we return to the practice of Offertory processions, participants should sanitize their hands before the procession. We hope this will be a time of transition and we will continue to monitor the spread of covid-19. We want to protect each other, especially our vulnerable population. Congregational singing is now permitted.

Archbishop's Update
regarding the June 2nd Sale of Archdiocesan Properties
On June 2, 2022, the tender process closed for the sale of a number of church properties in the greater St. John’s area. This process was independently administered by the Court appointed Monitor. We have been advised that the Monitor is reviewing bids and consulting with stakeholders. In the coming weeks the Monitor will provide responses regarding the recommended acceptance or rejection of individual bids. The Monitor will then submit a report inclusive of recommendations of bids for the Court to approve.
As we receive further information regarding the results of this sales process, we will begin working with parish priests and parish representatives in determining and implementing the pastoral and administrative changes resulting from these sales.
Please join with me in praying for wisdom and understanding as we continue this restructuring process.

Call to the Priesthood:
Could God be calling you to become a priest? Come and see. A vocation discernment group, led by Fr. James Fleming, meets regularly on the last Sunday of every month. Single Catholic men, 18 years and older, who are open to considering a call to the priesthood are invited to attend. The group meets at 6:30pm to pray, share a meal, and discuss a topic related to discerning a call to the priesthood. To register or find out more, please contact Fr. James Fleming at (709) 754-1195 or vocations@rcsj.org.
